20.01.2022 We had a fantastic night of good ol' rock n' roll last night at "The Scarsy". The Syndicate alias... Wayne Mackay/Drums..Daryl Yelland/Guitar..Bob Johns/Sax..and Yours Truly/Bass..The Bistro and Kitchen staff worked flat out and did a fantastic job to cope with the huge crowd (around 90 meals) The rest of the crowd in the bar rocked on all night. It is surprising how many younger people love the old rock music. Karaoke this Sat. Dec.19th.last for the year should be another great night with Brad. Cash prize for winner. 17.01.2022 Had a very successful mini motor show last saturday. We had about 20 cars and 12 motor cycles turn up. All enjoyed the free b-b-q. Hopefully will be able to post some photos soon. The night when" My Boys" The Syndicate" rocked along in the bar.Good to see" Dashing Dazza" fill in for me on the bass for a couple of songs. Don't forget this Saturday nights KARAOKE with Brad. 15.01.2022 What's coming up at the SCARSDALE PUB during Feb. Every Friday night is our happy hour from 5.30pm to 6.30pm followed by our very popular "Jag the Joker" at 7pm. some of the recent winnings have been $420.00 and the last big one was $840.00. On Feb. 20th we have a" Mini Motor Show" out the front of the pub Quite a number of our patrons are car enthusiasts and have a variety of Classics....Hot Rods....Vintage Cars.. Motor Bikes and ..Ford Muscle cars. (Free Entry) A sausage sizzle from midday onwards. Hopefully the weather is kind to us. In the evening the boys I play with, ie " THE SYNDICATE " will be playing some good old rock n roll in the bar from 8.30pm. Look forward to seeing y'all. BAZ

06.01.2022 Last night we had another good group of vocalists at our Karaoke night with Croonin' Cruisin'. First time singer at the pub Chris took out the cash prize after" belting out" some great tunes.Next Karaoke night will be on Jan 30th 2016 !!!! Also after heaps of requests, we have been asked to bring back "The Syndicate" rock band after a packed house enjoyed our last night of good ol' rock n' roll on Dec 12th.Will probably be in Feb 2016. Watch this space. The pub will be closed on Christmas day and Boxing day. From Baz, Gail, and all the staff we wish everybody a Merry Christmas and a Happy and safe New Year

02.01.2022 Just a reminder that our December Karaoke Night with Brad and his "Cruisin' Karaoke will be playing again on Sat December 19th a bit earlier than normal because of the Christmas holiday.We had another worthy winner of our encouragement award last gig. Michelle put on a great show to win to win the CASH!!!! This Sat 12th Dec. will be a BIG night with the boys (haha) of "THE SYNDICATE" playing at their 50 year re-union.Keep watching this space for more news from "THE SCARSY"
