25.01.2022 A little twilight studio time @karingalhub has me feeling content and excited. Dreaming about where this magical sensory installation will get to put its feet down and the souls it will touch. Shrine of the sacred self is An immersive response to the year 2020, navigating disruption and venturing within to discover a deep immovable faith in life.
23.01.2022 Finding myself in my temporary Karingal Hub studio at 7am painting the Divine mother seemed wholly (holy) perfect on this day of celebrating the mother. To all of you creative women - whether you have birthed human bubbas or not, I salute you for honouring the creative and birthing it into the world, nurturing and nourishing its existence. It takes passion and courage to honour this aspect of ourselves and the world is a much better place for it. Frankston City Council

06.01.2022 Tree of dreams is now complete and in full play mode! The outside world doesn’t seem as safe and welcoming as it used to We are bombarded with stories of illness and fear daily. We have become afraid to leave our homes and hug our friends, and this is taking a toll on our well-being, our spirit, our community and our ability to feel positive about the future. Tree of dreams is a reminder that within all of us there is still joy if we allow ourselves to feel it. It is a mindf...ul moment to dip into that place of joy within, a place of love, and of hope beyond fear. A reminder to dream of a positive future. Remembering a moment of childhood a timeless moment of bare feet, blue skies and limitless dreaming. A time when anything was possible. What if you could return to that time and place again, just for a moment? 05.01.2022 Meet Ginger Lioness warrior princess.. yep, that’s a mouthful! But it’s the name of my new wee friend Ella’s ginger kitty. Ella & her mum live near my latest mural, ‘Tree of Dreams’ Frankston City Council After she told me the sad story of her kitty’s passing, I had to name my marmalade cat after it. Serenaded by seagulls this morning, I was so excited to be working on this piece for my local community! I felt so warmly welcomed by the passers-by, as I went about my creative process. 03.01.2022 There is nowhere i need go to find love When i seek it by turning inside and removing the layers of protection and hurt i have placed there, it is just there waiting for me. We are sooo made of delicious juicy love and live our whole lives at one with it, whether we know it or not. ... It is only the illusion that we are separate from this great love that causes us to believe that choosing anything other than love makes sense. In the relative, dualistic world of positive and negative, darkness and light, male and female, we make choices and we learn from them. This is exactly what we are meant to be doing here on earth. Underlying these relative choices, though, is the choice to be conscious of what we are, which is love, or to be unconscious of it. When we choose to be conscious of it, we choose love. We will still exist in the relative world of opposites and choices and cause and effect, and we will need to make our way here, but doing so with an awareness that we are all made of this love will enable us to be more playful, more joyful, more loving and wise, as we make our way. This world makes it easy to forget this great love, which is part of why we are here. We are here to remember and, when we forget to remember again, to choose love.
