24.01.2022 Changes to the Living Water Smart Leak Find and Fix Rebate The Leak Find & Fix program aims to: Provide customers with free access to specialist plumbing and leak detection services. Achieve tangible water savings through leak repairs. ... Educate customers on how to look and identify signs of water leaks. The rebate amount available for eligible customers is: $200 (+GST) For customers to be eligible for a plumbing rebate they must: Be connected to Power and Water Corporation potable water supply network. Have an accessible water meter. Have not already received a Leak Find and fix rebate within the current financial year. Each connection is eligible for only one Leak Find and Fix rebate per financial year. Service includes and/or is limited to: One rebate per eligible customer per financial year. Plumber must be accompanied by resident or authorised individual at the time of the service. Approximately 60 minutes expected onsite. Inspect PowerWater water meter for movement and record flow. Investigate and identify area of water loss and provide leak repair services. Provide advice to customers on the method and importance of performing leak checks. Our plumbers have been instructed in the preventative measures required to protect themselves & others from infection.... In the interests of workplace health and safety, we will be postponing any scheduled work on your property if anyone on site; - has the Coronavirus, - has been exposed to the Coronavirus, - is in self-quarantine, - has recently travelled or are showing any symptoms. We will be questioning site contacts on arrival to ensure it is safe for our plumbers to attend to the works required. The site contact will be required to sign a declaration stating that they don’t fit into any of the above categories.
