23.01.2022 Hi everyone, sorry about the long wait for posts on the page. As Ben and Andrew begin work on our project in Malta this week and I head there in December to plan next field season, I can assure you that our plans for Sinuessa in the wonderful community of Modragone have not been forgotten. Ben has spent some time in the last couple of months re-drafting our proposal and application to at the very least survey the areas of the site in Sinuessa we would love to start research w...ork on. It will be sent soon to the powers that be and hopefully we get a positive response this year. While waiting for this I will be touching base with the site again next April as part of a trip to Italy and Croatia to present at the Roman Archaeology Conference in Split. I plan to catch up with friends in Mondragone and also Pompeii and visit the site. Ben and Andrew may also make a short visit in the coming weeks after our survey work in Malta raps up. More as things develop. See more

22.01.2022 It is with great sadness that I write to inform you that a colleague and friend, Professor Sebastiano Tusa, passed away in the aircraft accident at Addis Ababa. Tusa was a noted underwater archaeologist and Soprintendenza del la Mare and Sicilian regional assessor at the Ministry of Culture. Although Tusa was not directly involved with our Sinuessa project, we had hoped to utilise his expertise in our search for the ancient port. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, colleagues and friends.

19.01.2022 Buona Pasqua and Happy Easter to all our friends in Mondragone and around the world. Can't wait till we get a chance to spend more time exploring and researching Sinuessa. Let's hope it's not too long.
