12.01.2022 The Barony of Ynys Fawr is looking forward to our next Healthy Hobart Goes Dark session, delivered on behalf of the City of Hobart. This Sunday, July 1, we will be back at Parliament Lawns, Salamanca from 10-11am for the activity Make Your Own Foam Sword. All materials provided, and no experience (except with using duct tape) needed. 08.01.2022 This weekend the Barony has been fortunate enough to host Maestro Tariq ibn Jelal ibn Ziyadatallah al-Naysaburi (otherwise known as #historicalfencing teacher Richard Cullinan, pictured here in red) for two days of classes in Italian #rapier. An extension to our regular Monday night #fencing training at our permanent hall under the grandstand at the #hobart Showgrounds in Glenorchy, the training event Little Bit of Rapier is run every year with visiting teachers from across the Kingdom of Lochac.
