25.01.2022 It is with much sadness that we notify our members and friends of the passing away of Santina Berta. Santina departed this life peacefully on Sunday 25th October. We offer our sincere condolences to Beppe, and the family.

24.01.2022 It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Aldo Bevacqua, on Friday, 20th December. Aldo has been unwell for some time. We offer condolences to Rafaela and family on behalf of the club.

24.01.2022 Today we farewelled a lovely lady, Anna. Anna fell ill and passed away whilst on an overseas holiday. A well attended service was held at Stella Maris Catholic Church, Maroochydore, where friends and family came together to celebrate her life. A light has gone out. A voice no longer heard. ... 22.01.2022 To friends of Santina Berta, and the Bocce Club. We have been advised by the family, that a funeral service for Santina will take place at 3pm, Thursday 5th November, from Gregson & Weight Funeral Directors, Gregson Place, Caloundra.

22.01.2022 The Bocce Club is having its Annual General Meeting, Sunday 1st March at 10 am. All members are cordially invited to attend. Come along, and have some input into your club. Lunch will be provided.

19.01.2022 Hello, to all of our club's members and supporters. Yesterday I got a little excited as to the prospect of reopening the club. After further information from Qld Health, it was found that the latest rules as to opening the kitchen are too onerous at the present time. Thus, we will keep the club closed until the end of June and reappraise the situation then. On behalf of the committee we wish you well, and trust that you are coping well with the isolation.... 19.01.2022 After a recent committee meeting the club has decided to re-open the club on 12th July. There will initially be a limit of 20 members and guests. We will adhere to the current Corona Virus protocols. If you wish you may upload the training course for Covid; https://covid-19training.com.au/login.php Quite easy to complete. Further to this in anticipation of opening, there will be a working bee at the clubhouse; 4th July, from 0900.

16.01.2022 The Club is now back in operation for playing Bocce and lunch on Sundays. Of course everyone will have to abide to Covid Regulations as required by government laws and advice. Please phone Eddie if you wish to attend, as numbers are restricted. We are looking forward to your company.

11.01.2022 We are sorry to advise that due to concern for our members the club will remain closed until after Easter and maybe longer. This Corona Virus is causing great disruption to so many people, and we must do our best to assist the halting of this terrible disease.

11.01.2022 It is with regret, that we advise our members, and friends of the club, that, Nora Vanzetto passed away, in the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Saturday evening, 6th of April. Nora and her late husband Tony were founding members and great supporters of the club. Nora's funeral will take place at Stella Maris Church, Maroochydore, 12 noon, Tuesday 16th April. In lieu of flowers a charitable donation may be offered at the church. Our thoughts are with the family at this time.
