22.01.2022 "Your personality goes. Your judgement goes. The man I married has gone." Life has never been the same since Urvashi's husband, Bhupendra, was diagnosed with fr...ontotemporal dementia (FTD). This lesser known form of dementia is caused by loss of brain cells that primarily regulate behaviour and personality. This #FTDAwarenessWeek we're sharing vital info and research around this rarer form of dementia, which affects 1 in 20 people like Bhupendra. Share this post to raise awareness with us. https://www.alzheimersresearchuk.org//frontotemporal-deme/

03.01.2022 This #WorldAlzheimersDay were challenging misconceptions. Dementia is not an inevitable part of ageing, it is caused by diseases, most commonly Alzheimer's. Th...e damage caused by Alzheimer’s can leave a brain weighing 140g less than a healthy one - that’s about the weight of an orange. These are physical processes that research can slow, or even stop. #ShareTheOrange to spread hope and understanding, that a breakthrough is possible.
