16.01.2022 Fantastic morning Boonah High School Pool is open Cracking morning with fog in the background ... Update the water clarity will be reduced for 1-2 weeks. TJ Commercial Aquatics said when a pool with epoxy paint is refilled, a chalky residue is formed as a reaction to chlorine. Todd said it will get stirred up throughout the day but should start to improve by the end of holidays.

14.01.2022 Introducing the New Coach for Boonah Pool and Boonah Swimming Club: Kierston Cuskelly Last week the new pool lessee, Mick Kajewski, and the new coach joined us ...at the AGM. The committee was able to meet Kierston and learn about her plans for training and her role as club coach. Kierston is employed by the pool management (Mick Kajewski) not by the club, however her role involves being the official club coach as well as running training sessions at the pool. A bit about Kierston: She has swum competitively with Beaudesert Swimming Club since the age of 5. She developed a passion for swimming and swim coaching at a very early age and started to assist with stroke correction and development of junior swimmers. From there she was very fortunate to be employed at the Beaudesert Pool during her senior years at school as a Learn to Swim Instructor, Lifeguard and Second Assistant Coach. While pursuing Swim Teaching, she also continued to compete at both club and school states and assisted club coaches with her fellow swim team members. She loves to help all levels of swimmers achieve their goals and she’s excited to further enhance her skills and coaching experience in Boonah. As a committee, we are excited to work with Kierston and Mick during the upcoming season. For more info about training sessions, contact the Boonah Pool.
