24.01.2022 It’s a bit foggy out here this morning but promises to be a beautiful day! A bit of rain coming again on Saturday hopefully. We will be closed over the weekend sorry no pickups and any enquiries I will answer on Monday. The much anticipated wedding of our daughter has been brought forward to this Sunday due to the border closures so life has been a bit hectic here this week. We are very excited to be celebrating this happy occasion and will have some pics next week!

20.01.2022 Only a few weeks now til Christmas. As usual we will be taking a break from deliveries from the 24th December through til the 4th January. So please check if you will need extra hay over this period and let me know asap as we only have a few spots left on our regular runs right up til Christmas eve. Our farm Elf is going to be busy here on the farm in the lead up to Christmas with lots of irrigating, making hay and general farm jobs so we will keep you posted on his antics! As the weather is so hot at present Ethan is getting up super early and leaving at 4.30am so he may arrive a bit earlier than normal on your regular run to beat the heat. 13.01.2022 Great to see the sunshine again, though there is still a fair bit of flooding around especially near Beaudesert so we won't be delivering hay today. Ethan will do a run to Jimboomba on Thursday this week but then we won't be able to deliver until next Monday. We will try and catch up everyone before Easter but days are limited we will do our best. Please contact me if you need. But our normal Gold Coast runs for today and tomorrow won't be going ahead unfortunately. So happy for the rain though Moogerah Dam is almost at 40% up from 12% this time last week. So we lost some lucerne in the floods yesterday but we will have water again! Hope everyone is safe and can now begin the cleanup, mother nature is a powerful force. take care - SRL team.
12.01.2022 What a year it has been, thank you to all our customers you are the reason we are out baling til 2am some nights and the reason we get up each morning. As 2020 draws to a close we are thankful for our family and our great team. We hope 2021 is a safe and happy one for everybody. As we struggle with water supplies without good rain as yet we are taking a slightly new direction here on the farm but we will still be making hay don’t worry. Ethan will be back delivering hay from next Tuesday the 4th. Cheers Russell and Jenny
