25.01.2022 Booklet design for Queensland Polo Association. It was a pleasure to work on this 36 page booklet containing information for polo players and spectators during the 2020 polo season. Printed locally in the Scenic Rim on premium stock with a sturdy glossy cover.

23.01.2022 I’m incredibly humbled and excited to be a finalist for the 2020 WiT: Women in Technology Regional Award. It is a real honour to be selected alongside some outstanding women in science and technology. Thank you to all of my lovely clients - I’m so grateful for your support. For more info about the awards, see https://wit.org.au/page-1860760

20.01.2022 Phishing Scams Warning: Watch out for fake emails from Apple, PayPal, banks, domain registrars and similar companies... There is an increase in phishing emails right now. Unfortunately scammers haven’t stopped working. The easiest way to find out if an email is genuine or fake is to click on the email sender and check the domain name. However, this method is not 100% reliable.... If you are in doubt about an email, contact the company directly using the contact info on their official website, and do not click on any links in the email. If the email is about your domain name or web hosting, feel free to forward it on to me and I’ll check it out for you.

19.01.2022 It was great to collaborate on this project for Accountants Direct (I designed the logo and worked on the computer graphics). Videos are a fantastic way to promote your business online and show people what you do. If you’re interested in making one for your business, I highly recommend Drew from 100 Acts of Kindness Videography - he is a friendly local (based at Canungra), and his work is brilliant.

19.01.2022 Excited to launch a brand new website for Gatton Show Society today! https://www.gattonshowsociety.com.au/ Even though many agricultural shows have been cancelled for 2020, there are a lot of volunteers still working hard behind the scenes for their communities and future shows.

17.01.2022 On Friday we launched the brand new Wongaburra Aged Care website. I’ve been working on this project with the lovely team at Wongaburra for some time now, but with all of the latest developments with the COVID-19 situation, we decided to fast-track the completion of the website so that they can keep the community updated effectively. The website features a special page for important information on Coronavirus, where Wongaburra will be posting all the latest updates. See the new website at https://wongaburrasociety.com.au/

16.01.2022 Today we launched a brand new website for Hanoob Views, a gorgeous dog-friendly country retreat near Boonah. I realise the thought of going on a holiday is probably far from most people's minds at the moment. But please do keep this spot in mind for the future. Set in a stunning location, these two private holiday homes have amazing views, and the best part is that dogs are welcome! View the website at: https://hanoobviews.com/

12.01.2022 We are waking up to a different world every day. Thinking of all the businesses, organisations and places of worship having to close their doors. If anyone needs support in setting up online solutions to keep going, I'm happy to have a no-obligation chat.

11.01.2022 With the increased popularity of Zoom, it has become more of a target for hackers and gatecrashers. Tip: Password protect your Zoom meetings and send the details directly to participants rather than sharing in a place where anyone can see them.... How to: If you want to password-protect your meetings yourself, you can do that in the Zoom app by going to the Meetings tab, clicking the Edit button under your personal meeting ID, checking the Require meeting password checkbox, and then entering a password to use for your meetings. The steps are similar on the mobile app.

09.01.2022 Many local businesses and organisations are facing challenging decisions with the covid-19 situation. If you are considering setting up remote working capacities for your staff, moving part of your business online, or wanting to brainstorm ways to support your business or organisation through the period ahead, I'd love to help. Maybe you need a better way for staff to effectively collaborate with each other while working from home. Maybe you want to start offering remote... consultations to your clients. Maybe you want to start selling some of your products or services online. Maybe you are stuck for ideas and just want to see what might be possible. Here are some of my favourite online tools: Online Forms: Cognito Forms Email, Calendar and Document Collaboration: G Suite for Business and Microsoft 365 Virtual Meetings: Zoom and Skype Project Management and Collaboration: ClickUp and Trello File Sharing: Dropbox Online Shops: Shopify and BigCommerce Payment Processing: Stripe and PayPal Basic Email Marketing: Mailerlite and Mailchimp Advanced Email Marketing: Active Campaign Event Ticketing: Local Tickets Screen Recording: Loom There are plenty of options out there, and it can be difficult to work out what is the best fit. It doesn't have to be complicated or expensive, sometimes just a couple of simple tools can really help improve your operations. I'm offering free 15 minute phone consultations to support you in finding the best online solutions to help solve your problems. No sales pitch, no obligation, no pressure, no cost. If you'd like to talk, you can book in at: https://calendly.com/scenicrimdesign I’ve been hesitant to post this, because I realise it may seem opportunistic to some... Please be assured that I genuinely want to be supportive during these challenging times. Take care & stay safe, Carrie See more

04.01.2022 A great message from the Governor to people involved in agricultural shows across Queensland. I work with a few shows across the state and they all do an amazing job at strengthening and energising their local communities
