23.01.2022 I am getting there with painting Marilyn's bonnet . I'm pretty happy with the results so far but as i usually do I have made the artwork a little complex lol so it has taken a little longer than I thought. I think it will be worth the effort in the end . she will be creeping people out at a car show near you very soon . Thank you all so much for liking my page. I will post pics when the job is done

22.01.2022 This is the bonnet from my 59 Fairlane Time for a new look . I took a risk airbrushing over old paint subsequently cracks have appeared . Bring on the paint stripper !!!

17.01.2022 Still painting Marilyns bonnet . I had some issues with the underside , i had it painted at a panel shop but unfortunately they missed an important stage, preparation . So I scraped the flaking paint off with a razor blade as I had already prepped the outside ready for paint . This is some of the artwork with more to come .

14.01.2022 A coffee table that i made for my lovely wife .Her favourite colour is blue and she loves dragons . The base of the table was made by my wife's Dad who was not only a very skilled boilermaker by trade but also a very talented musician , a vocalist and guitarist and a great father. The copper pipes that run along the side of the table and the strings( made from welding wire ) across the ends of the table are a tribute to Simons metal working expertise . The strings are are also to represent Simons prowess as a musician . I made all of the string separators and fittings myself . I will always have the utmost respect for Simon and i am thankful every day for my beautiful wonderful wife

05.01.2022 My wifes V8 AU fairmont that i resprayed recently . When i started it was maroon . After a bare metal respray which took a year to complete it is now her favorite colour.
