25.01.2022 Sorry for the lack of updates on this page over the year. It’s been a lot behind the scenes over here. I have decided to put my work life on hold for now until further notice. This means that the school bus art will be closed for a little long, maybe the rest of the term, maybe the rest of the year. But, I will be back. If you want to be on a list of people I contact once things are up and running again then please send me a message and I’ll add you to my text train. Also i...n my other life, after over 12 years working at Adam court kindergarten having the privilege to teach about 700 little babes, today was my last session. I took this photo out the front before opening up for the last time and felt all the feels. It feels hard and heavy leaving this chapter behind and I’m going to miss it enormously. But I am going to be staying home with my most special little girl and give her my everything, this is what she deserves- how lucky am I. Many families from kinder attend the bus and I couldn’t be more grateful for your ongoing support. Thankyou to all the family’s and children, the ones that have shaped my life, the ones iv become life long friends with and the ones that have never given up on me over the years. 23.01.2022 Do you ever think it’s too late to start something new? Here is an amazing statue painted by my 93 year old grandad who only started expressing his love for art in his elderly years. He mixes the colours himself and paints it all by hand. I love it so much and love how well it matches my garden, personality and life x If anyone is ever wondering if they would enjoy painting or anything else arty but don’t want to spend the money on supplies just to try- hit us up. We’ve got you covered, I’ll gift you some of the art bus supplies and spread the love

20.01.2022 UPDATE Sorry guys for the lack of presence and posts. We have had a wild few months and just trying to keep swimming over here so not much time for anything else. Unfortunately due to the current global circumstances school bus art will continue to be closed for term three. We have a neutropenic child in our house and have to be extra careful. I was thinking of doing some once off classes here and there through the term if I can so keep your eyes peeled for those announce...ments. I miss you all. 19.01.2022 Today we designed and drew our own super hero’s. We then created our own super hero makes/crowns using dry felting. If you don’t have dry felting supplies why not make yours out of paper or cardboard or recyclables around your home. How creative can you be?

18.01.2022 Fun thing to do today, we are back in the bath! If you don’t have non toxic paint, you can make some with one cup of flour, one cup of warm water and some food colouring.

15.01.2022 Home made chalk. Rest of instructions are in the photos 2 parts plaster 1 part water Couple of drops of food colouring Mix together until smooth paste- work quickly it sets fast and make sure you don’t wash the containers out down the sink and you can clog your drains. Chose a container you are not going to use again for food. ... Add to baking paper lined moulds and leave over night to set Tomorrow’s fun thing to do involves chalk so quick make some tonight so you can join in! You can also make chalk with cornflour if you don’t have any plaster. See more
14.01.2022 Today we are creating a city. You will need chalk (recipe in feed if you don’t have any) and some blocks, animals, people, nature, anything you want to add to your city. Video in comments x this one is fun and has kept my children occupied for AGES. Enjoy and be as creative as you want.

09.01.2022 Hi guys. It’s been so long since I have updated you on what is happening in the bus, sorry for the lack of communication. At this stage the bus can still not open as it’s classed as an at home business. Until the numbers increase for how many people you can have in your home we are still having to wait it out. It’s been a hard time waiting to be able to go back and iv spent most of it just sitting around crossing my fingers. Thankyou everyone for the patience and support during this hard time. I’d love to see all your faces again, but until then here is a picture of Zapp the therapy puppy for you all keep smiling, keep making art x Heidi
