One of our teachers, Paul, is a member member of the QPAC Chamber Choir, who recently performed their acapella version of the Aretha Franklin hit Rock Steady on the ABC Radio Brisbane Breakfast Show. This is one of the many reasons why our teachers love their job so much, they get to help students achieve their goals! Message: "I hope youve been well,... I just wanted to say thank you so much for last year and for helping me with both Chemistry and Maths. I finished Maths B on a VHA5 and ended up getting an OP3. If I didnt have you there helping me through the year, I would never have been able to achieve that! This year I am studying Biomedical Science at the University of Auckland in New Zealand in the hope of transferring into Medicine after one year. 22.01.2022 This is one of our Hubbard's School students Madeline Cross-Parkin, practicing the piece Étude Op. 10, No. 3 (Chopin). She is practicing this piece as it is part of her repertoire with the Young Conservatorium Seniors Program. Not only has Maddy performed at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, last year she also performed as part of the Australian Piano Duo Festival in the Brisbane City Hall. On top of attending Hubbard's School, Maddy practices the piano betwe...en 4 and 7 hours per day! She has also taught piano, and been awarded an Associate Diploma in Music. We are very proud to have Maddy enrolled at Hubbard's School, and would like to share her musical talent with our extended school community. Please feel free to watch and share this video.
