24.01.2022 Good evening all, I do hope you are all well and in good health as the COVID-19 makes its way into our wonderful community. Firstly, I would like to extend my sheer Gratitude to our amazing families who have been working alongside us at this worrying time. The compassion, support and cooperation has been over whelming, and for that I cannot thank you enough.... It is with great sadness, in light of recent instructions from our Government that non essential services are to cease trade within 48 hours, that physical dance classes will cease as of Monday 23rd March. All classes will be available on line at their normal time. We have had a few children trying it out this week, as they have been home sick. So have had time to work out the kinks. We will be using zoom and Skye. A link will be sent to you for each of the classes during the week. This link will work for the next 2 and 1/2 weeks until school holidays was meant to start. At the time of the class, click on it and they will see their wonderful teachers and class mates ready to go!! This will become even more important if the schools shut down. Classes will be modified so they can be done in a small space. We are going to be the fittest, strongest, most flexible we have ever been by the time this ends! I do realise the time frame maybe hard for some of the younger children, so I am looking at recording the lessons so you can do them at a time that suits. Staying active and connected at this time will help the children navigate through this. Please be aware that though I am being vigilant, I am in no means fearful. I believe this is a time we can be looking to the more needy and vulnerable around us and asking how we can help.This can be a great teaching opportunity for our children. Lets help them become more community minded individuals, Continue to speak wisdom and compassion into their hearts and model generous behaviour to our fellow Australians. If you have any questions or concerns relating to the coming weeks and the merge of classes to the virtual experience, please do not hesitate in contacting me.
