24.01.2022 COVID-19 Water Security Risk Index Tool An innovative COVID-19 Water Security Risk Index tool has been developed by Griffith University researchers (Dr. Lachlan Guthrie from the International Water Centre and Assoc. Prof. Anne Roiko from the School of Medicine). The work was supported through the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Partnerships for Recovery policy and the Australian Water Partnership (AWP). The COVID-19 Water Security Risk Index to...ol was profiled as the top innovation of the week in a water industry webinar series last week. The Index rates countries in the Indo-Pacific according to their holistic COVID-19 Risk. The aim is to identify which water-based intervention might give the most impact. It uses elements of health, economics, and water security to assess each country’s ability to respond. It is the best such tool that I have seen so far, and through this platform (Water Action Platform) I have seen a lot of them. 03.01.2022 Graduation Ceremony... "The Three Deans" Judy Searle was invited to give the Occasional Address by the Chancellor, Henry Smerdon AM at this years Doctor of Medicine Graduation Ceremony at the Gold Coast Convention Centre. Judy gave an inspiring speech about the pivotal moments in her career and recounted some of her experiences as a junior doctor. The presence of the Foundation Dean and the two Deans that followed all dressed in their academic regalia, made for a photo opportunity that was too good to miss, "The Three Deans".
