20.01.2022 Jehan demonstrates how to recreate Roland's much loved and highly sought after Space Echo RE-301 using native Ableton Live FX. The result is a brilliant and faithful digital emulation of the much revered unit. And for nothing! Here Jehan has also included a link to the Ableton Rack so you can see exactly what he has done. Thanks Jehan! Link here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/si1ro0ug4om... PS - Other DAW users can follow using their own native FX!

19.01.2022 We love SOS Maschine and DJ tutor Leroy Amphlett's beat making. Here he shows us how to program a Jackin House beat both in Maschine and Ableton and uses swing and Ableton's groove pool to add that authentic house feel. Takes me back to '88 (hence the thumbnail)!

17.01.2022 Join Davide Carbone in an Analogue mastering session where he passes SOS tutor Leroy Amphlett, AKA Binofski's latest track through some nice analogue gear. Does it make a difference? Same volume but bigger, nicer, warmer. The sound of analogue!

03.01.2022 Having Carl Cox educate you on each tune as you listen to his stream is one of the great privileges of life. Thank God for artists like him in times like these!

01.01.2022 School of Synthesis tutor and Native Instruments specialist Tristan Malloch teaches us how to make Synthwave in this excellent 10 minute video made with Ableton Live and Carbon Electra. Here he makes beats, bass, pads / leads and uses techniques like sidechaining to create an authentic made in the 80's synthwave track. He pays particular attention to designing the sounds from scratch using basic and easy to understand synthesis. This process can be applied to any DAW or synth. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIbg4sJzCsg
