25.01.2022 Not a good day in the office today for kayaking, my time better spent sitting in the cafe.

24.01.2022 Spent a great day with Yolanda and Brendan on Saturday. We explored Dora Creek in Lake Macquarie for the day. Weather forecast was for thunderstorms, luckily they didn't eventuate.

23.01.2022 A day off today, not a kayak in sight. We took a drive over to #hunterwetlandsnationalpark to see the latest migratory bird arrivals from the northern hemisphere. We were rewarded with Bar Tailed Godwits, Eastern Curlews, Red Knots, Red Necked Avocets and plenty of other visitors to our shores. I'm excited for a wonderful summer of paddling, sharing the wetlands with our guests.

23.01.2022 Fantastic day kayaking the Barrington River yesterday. Lots of fun, fast whitewater. Great chance to practice swift water rescue and boat recovery, when a certain guide decided he should swim the whole way down to the bottom.

20.01.2022 Four intrepid adventurer's, Barrington River kayaking. We looked a lot less "dapper"at the end.

17.01.2022 Lovely day for a kayak on #lakemacquariensw Starting at Lake Mac Art Gallery to Awaba Bay and back again. Glorious!

17.01.2022 This explains the river smells yesterday. Sadly the fish are really suffering, we seen many of them dead or suffocating on the surface. They are desperate to get oxygen and are swimming on the surface gasping for air.

15.01.2022 Hard day in the office today, Duke of Edinburgh program until the 3rd.

13.01.2022 Good morning World, starting another tough day in my office.
