18.01.2022 The Schools Lodge are proud to share in acknowledgement and pride for the great achievements of the RBFI. On July 25th the RFBI was awarded by ACSA the ‘Provider of the Year’ award. In light of the Royal Commission into aged care and the turmoil that transgresses the entire industry the RFBI have given hope and demonstration that, despite the challenges in the sector, choice, independence, dreams and dignity can be far better delivered than the media represents. The Schools L...odge wish the RFBI all the luck they will need to carry on developing so astonishingly and congratulate them on this most amazing achievement. The RFBI have published a short article on the event which briefs a few of their initiatives to enhance the lives of the elderly in their care. https://rfbi.com.au/news/acsa-provider-of-the-year-award/

17.01.2022 The final meeting of the year was capped of with a 4 course feast starting with Chanpagne, and hors douvres, then featuring antipasto, smoked Ham and turducken roast root vegetables with sauce de canard, home made cranberry sauce with complementary imported and Australian wines and followed with pavlova, cheeses, figs and coffee, port and chocolates. I don’t think any of the 40 who made it to the meeting despite the storm left hungry!
