16.01.2022 PARKING ENFORCEMENT UPODATE At the July Council meeting, Council passed the following motion: During the conduct of the licence plate recognition trial currentl...y being undertaken in the Salisbury City Centre, Council resolve that the trial is for the purposes of collecting parking data only, and that expiation notices are not issued through the use of the new technology, for cars that overstay the time restrictions. At the conclusion of the licence plate recognition trial, the report that will be provided to Council on the outcomes of the trial also incorporate advice on the implications of the provision of four (4) and/or five (5) hour parking areas in the city centre.
