23.01.2022 We are very pleased to announce that Schubert Law is now able to offer mediation in addition to our suite of legal services. Solicitor Alicia Schubert is now a nationally accredited mediator able to offer mediation services to assist in relation to any type of dispute, and is also a qualified and registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP). Family Dispute Resolution is a type of mediation that specifically deals with family law parenting and property settlement matters, and only a qualified FDRP can issue the certificate that is required in the majority of cases before a party can make an application to court for child related family law matters. In that time we have provided service in around 200 matters across a broad range of legal areas and received fantastic support and loyalty from clients. We'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who has offered encouragement and interest, and particularly to those who have entrusted us with their matters and/or recommended us to others. 11.01.2022 As the end of financial year draws very very near, if anyone is considering making a donation to a charitable cause then please give thought to supporting Womens Legal Service at Annerley, Brisbane. WLS is a community legal service that is operated by a small but very dedicated team and volunteers (legal and non-legally qualified) and over the decades have made a fantastic contribution in providing input to policy and legislation, creating excellent free resources to support women and children, providing free legal support and connecting women and children with other necessary support services. 10.01.2022 Today Schubert Law made a donation to RSPCA Queensland, being the nominated charity of a client who chose to come in during this month to have a new Will and Enduring Power of Attorney drafted. This was done as part of our offer that during July 2015 we are reducing our professional fees for drafting Wills and Enduring Power of Attorney forms by 20% and will also donate 10% of the professional fees to a charity of your choice.
