14.01.2022 Relax in the cool shade of bushland surrounding Schwerkolt Cottage and Museum Complex this weekend. We are open between 2-5pm on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday for the Australia Day public holiday. Visit the Cottage and Museum Complex to discover how some of our early settlers lived. You will be able to see the old smithy or Blacksmith, where Blacksmiths worked to shoe horses and make and repair farm and domestic implements. Most farms hosted a small smith, where the farmer could attend to simple repair jobs.
