20.01.2022 SCRUTINEERS Candidates wishing to appoint a scrutineer should email their scrutineers name to [email protected] prior to the close of polling at 2pm Friday the 23rd (TODAY). A scrutineer is your eyes for the count. They ensure the count is done fairly and properly. They also act as witnesses to adjudications of the Returning Officers and can report to their candidate the result of their ballot as well as any decisions made in regards to the count. 10.01.2022 Hi everyone! Expressions of interest to become a staff member at Science Union's 2021 First Year Camp are now LIVE! Camp will take place March 5th-7th, 2021 (the weekend of week 2). Applications are open until midnight January 4th. You must attend a compulsory staff briefing (starting mid January) to be eligible as a Camp staff member. You must also attend Student Leadership Training (occurring in January) - the camp session is COMPULSORY ... The available staffing positions are as followed: - Freelancer: Liaising with the Head Freelancer to ensure all activities run smoothly - Chef: Cook meals for the duration of the camp in accordance with the Head Chef - Parent: You will be required to look after a family of around 8 first year students (alongside a co-parent) - Medic: MUST have a valid first aid certificate and be flexible to assist the freelancers - Photographer - Lifeguard: MUST have bronze medallion Any questions then message our page!
