14.01.2022 Pictured here is the incredible team that run #sckcyarrarangescamp....they can’t wait to be up and running again in 2021....same for the teams that run our other camps around Australia. In 2021 we will be funding 500 kids, 700 volunteers, 16 camps in 6 states & territories. Many of the kids who attend camp are in the foster care system and have been subjected to various forms of significant trauma. The good news is we are doing something about it! The kids experience a week filled with fun and laughter and get to leave camp with a fresh perspective, new life skills and hope for a brighter future. It really hit home when I had a read of the post on fb and did some research for Southern Cross Kids Camps. I myself grew up on the st...reets as a kid and know just how much I had to suffer. Never had a hand up then, but life found a way. I work full time now and rent my own home. Really dont care to win the bike cause never won nothing in my life but knowing its going to a great cause makes me feel good.
