07.01.2022 We Know everyone is doing it tough with Covid restrictions in place, but spare a moment for those with a disability and aged care residents who have extra restrictions in place and huge disruptions to their Routines and everyday life. One of the worst things for our community during the past few months have been limited social interactions, so if you have a friend or family member in supported accommodation please pick up the phone or skype them if you can. It would mean so much.=

Our support workers will work collaboratively with participants and their families to achieve their goals via a person-centred, human rights focused framework and make a positive difference. A casual contract with regular working hours is available with the potential to move into a part-time role for the right person. About you... - You are a People Person capable of creating meaningful and purposeful relationships - You are motivating, take initiative and possess critical thinking skills - You are trustworthy and compassionate - You are an excellent communicator and able to explore and implement participants goals Role requirements - First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain) - Blue Card / Yellow Card (or eligible to obtain) - Drivers Licence - Experience working with people who have limited words to communicate Please send your resume and cover letter to [email protected]
