Our competitors will always say their unleaded fuel will make more power than QM25, but have they tested it in an engine turning to this RPM????

Yvette, running a new PB of a 8.41 @ 159 mph in the now nitrous assisted TS/AA falcon. Heaps left in this combo. 15.01.2022 C & R Motorsport Developments had our first opportunity to carry out testing with VP Racing Fuels QM25 Unleaded Race fuel that will replace some versions of exi...sting leaded fuels currently used in Drag Racing come 30th June 2019 The test engine in this case belonged to Australian Comp Eliminator Champion Craig Geddes. Craigs engine is a twin carb SB 2 headed 335 SBC. Before continuing, wed like to thank Craig for allowing us to test QM25 on his engine, also thanks goes to Sandro from SCM for providing the fuel. Unless authorized by our customers, all HP numbers and information are and will remain confidential. The initial results are encouraging, with overall power lineball to existing VP ROO16 which has proven to be a consistently powerful and reliable fuel across a variety of combinations. We would like to note here that C & R has no allegiance with any particular fuel company and take pride in being unbiased and independent. Over the years we have had experience with race fuels from suppliers such as ERC, Sunoco, ETS, ELF, plus VP and others. Everyone should be mindful that due to variations in engine design and running parameters in areas such as compression, combustion chamber shape, induction, RPM range, engine temperature and air temperature etc. Each engine will respond differently to each fuel and power gains/losses will vary as a result. On this engine as tested which saw close to 10,000 RPM the QM25 exhibited different characteristics and tuning indicators to ROO16, but was very consistent and repeatable. And we feel as more knowledge is gained with this fuel over different engine combinations on the dyno and on the race track it is possible more power maybe had. While we understand that QM25 is targeted as a replacement for PSX+. In the past weve conducted testing between ROO16 and PSX+, these tests were performed on engines between 300 to 500 + cubes and the gains varied from 8 to 18 HP depending on the engine and combination. So overall given this is only early days of testing we feel that Drag Racing and racers in general should feel reasonably positive about the upcoming change to unleaded fuels. See more

With those adverse weather conditions continuing, the Sunraysia Drag Racing Association has decided for the safety of racers to postpone the beginning of the Twilight Nationals event until tomorrow, Saturday the 14th of March, 2020. On-track running will now commence from 10.00am local time on Saturday, with an updated schedule now available on the Sunraysia Drag Racing Association facebook page. After 4 years on the side lines We hit the track last season at the western nationals only with it to be cut short after injector issues. Now with a new set of injectors and turbo exhaust housings this Lexus v8 is as happy ever. ... Thanks to everyone that was involved to get it up and running again. See you all at the track

04.01.2022 Events to resume with enhanced security measures at Perth Motorplex Following a rigorous review of current security measures, VenuesWest in consultation with WA... Police Force have determined events with an expected attendance of more than 100 people may resume from Sunday 20 December with the provision of increased police presence and enhanced security measures in place. As such, the Custom Cars and Coffee event will run this Sunday. Additional security measures will be in place for this event, including a significantly increased security and police presence at the venue assuming a checking and supervision role, enhanced active CCTV surveillance, as well as other enhanced security measures. The safety of our patrons is our number one priority and we continue to liaise with the WA Police. These additional security measures have been implemented to ensure patrons feel confident and safe returning to the Motorplex.
