25.01.2022 Bought a beautiful panther black TT125 and couldnt be happier with it, and the fantastic and enthusiastic service before and after sale. John has a genuine passion for Scomadi and scootering in general and is only too keen to help. "Minor Threat" just happens to be a favourite band of mine but I saw the humour in it for the scooter too. Next step is a Yumanashi Variator upgrade. Bloody great Scooters!

If you were wondering what to do for the New Year and to enjoy the summer here in Australia, then the Yumanashi experience from Frank Sanderson @ Scomadi Tuning is for you. Good project for the freezing Brits back home who have laid up their scooter for their winter. Variator kits are available in stock from all our Australian SSS dealers and demo units available to ride, see and believe. Units available to fit Scomadi TT125 & TT200 as well RA GT & GP ...models. In Melbourne, to quote Alex the Dealer principal at dHonk Scooters, he saw his hard-working shop scooter get some special attention from the Sandermeister during his recent trip, in the form of a remapped ECU, an amazing Yumanashi oversize variator, beautiful and resonant pre-production SSS exhaust plus a foam filter to lean things out. The effect was simply mind-blowing. Remember that the majority of Alexs customers run Stage 4 kits on their Scomadis, so people could instantly compare performance first hand. The shop scooter is now bad-ass, ut is at least as fast as the excellent Stage-4 PM tune but the power is noticeably smoother and soooo useable. Very big and steady power delivery under hard acceleration from all speeds and the return and idle smooth as silk, very impressed. The trip to 100km/h is just bananas, love it!! The fairy-tale of having a bonkers fast scoot that is verily well mannered may have been written... watch out for Franks new line of SSS go-faster kits, you will want one. Damn good value too. In Sydney, I visited Ian the new Dealer for NSW based at Classic Scooters who set it up for me to try out a Yumanashi fitted to a TT125 which had just over 1000 kms on the clock. I like the 125cc model, its light and very flexible handling on the road. The problem is that I really enjoy the performance a Scomadi TT200 gives. I will not lie and say that I was not expecting much in the way of a dramatic improvement by just fitting the Yumanashi Variator, So I got on the scooter to ride it around the block and bring back into the workshop. It should be a two-minute trip, just enough time to evaluate the change in performance. What I did not expect was the most dramatic change in performance I think I have ever experienced in a scooter. It went from being a nice ride to a STUNNNING ride. If you wanted to ride normally- it behaved impeccably, but if you wanted to open it up it went like a drag racer the two-minute trip turned into a 20-minute blast around the whole neighbourhood. It was addictive and the most fun I have had for ages. Brian at Perth Scoots in WA and Micky at Mod Street Scooters in QLD are busy fitting the Yumanashi units to their demo fleets, so dont take my word for it, go and grab a test ride next week and see for yourself. The Bang for Buck is unbelievable.

14.01.2022 YUMINASHI high-performance variators now in stock. Frank Sanderson fitted this variator to my black TL200 several weeks ago, before adding a remapped ECU, then ...a high flow exhaust, then a foam air filter. Surprisingly, the biggest pick up in performance by far came from fitting this little nugget of go-faster goodness. I honestly dont know how it works as it has nothing to do with fuel or air but the increase in acceleration was astonishing, and a good chunk of extra top-end too. There is a lot more meat on it than the PM Variator, and the slides have been slightly textured.. its a mysterious business. But if you want a significantly faster TT or TL200 this is the easiest, safest and best value mod you could dream of. $360 or $399 fitted. dHonk!

Chatting to Michael "The Doctor" upgrading from a TT125 to a TT200 after 12 months happy and trouble free riding. Catching up with Mark Hodge previous owner of a Scomadi hand built model in UK, rally drinking buddy and the very first owner of a Scomadi in Australia. Posing for some photos ...with Gary who was present on some Historic events at Wigan Casion shown on his cool two tone and Frank ultra tweaking the TL200 of Jason Stokes, the first buyer of the Stage 4 in the Southern Hemisphere to maintain his name as the owner of the fastest Scomadi in the Southern Hemisphere.
