24.01.2022 Mussy cycling club is having a couple of working bees this weekend at the Ron King Velodrome in preparation for bike week events & a junior track carnival planned for October. Any of the scone bunch who would like to help out would be most welcome - if we can give a little bit of time back to the sport and especially the future of the sport ( the kids ) that would be much appreciated. Thx. Bret.

For people who follow our page looking for Cycling activities this week Upper Hunter shire council supported by Muswellbrook cycle club are having events to promote the use of community cycling facilities in our area and help people improve their health and wellbeing thru cycling. There will be a ride on along the new bike path leaving from in scone at 09:30 Saturday 23rd September- heading out to the scone racecourse and back ( approx. 5 km ) At 12:30 ...all are welcome to bring their own bicycle to have a try of the Rob King Velodrome in Muswellbrook. Velodrome track racing is an exciting sport , an excellent workout away from the traffic. There will be a free BBQ and for those who want to try a track racing bike the club will have some available to try free of charge. On Sunday leaving from scone ( Bill Rose sport complex) at 08:30 will be a ride to Cressfeild stud farm for coffee and return to scone -a 50 km ride. 03.01.2022 Hunter district rider had a nasty incident, thankfully he was not seriously injured and some good onboard video footage will hopefully help to make an example of these idiots.

02.01.2022 Tree sprint. Widened & resurfaced.
