06.01.2022 To help stop the spread of COVID-19, practicing good hygiene is crucial, follow our steps below to minimise the risk! Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds whenever you cough sneeze or blow your nose, prepare food or eat, care for someone sick, touch your face or go to the toilet. Completely dry your hands as well. If you are unable to wash your hands, use alcohol-based hand sanitiser.... Remember to cough or sneeze into a tissue and discard the tissue immediately and proceed to wash your hands with soap. If you do not have a tissue available, cough or sneeze into the crease of your elbow. Avoid close contact with others if you are well. Keeping your distance when you are sick is a good defence against viruses. Wear a face mask only if you are unwell or caring for someone unwell there is very little evidence to support the use of face mask in healthy people to prevent transmission of the virus. It is good practice to frequently clean and disinfect the surfaces and objects that people encounter or frequently touch.
