02.01.2022 Scone Bearings and Spares is a family owned small business that supplies a wide variety of bearings, automotive parts and other associated products to several industries including farming, mining, manufacturing, automotive, small business, trades and Do It Yourself (DIY) person. We require seeking a dynamic individual highly motivated Sales and Parts Interpreter to join our in-shop team to assist in supplying products to our existing and new customers. We pride ourselves on... suppling the right available part at a competitive price. This is a casual position 10-15 hours Monday to Friday, flexibility a must. A roster will be provided. About the role, duties, and responsibilities: Sound knowledge in spare parts, automotive aftermarket or bearing industries. Attending to front counter and phone enquires, identify customers parts requirements Developing and maintaining good working relationships with customers Responding to all enquiries in a professional and efficient manner Ability to multitask, see and do what needs to be done Process all orders and efficiently and accurately Stocking shelves and general upkeep of the showroom This position offers exposure to a wide variety of products giving the opportunity to expand your knowledge. Skills and experience, required attributes: Sales experience in the spare parts, automotive aftermarket or bearing industries Exceptional customer service and personable telephone manner The ability to work effectively autonomously and in a team environment The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both customers and suppliers Proactive, inquisitive nature and good computer skills Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications High degree of accuracy and attention to detail A reliable and punctual person who works well in a team as well as unsupervised Genuine interest in the sales industry Desirable: Knowledge of bearings, automotive parts an advantage or willingness to learn.
