We worked very hard to produce a high quality initiative in a very short amount of time (due to the easing of some Covid19 restrictions). Some of our key deliverables included creating both a social and economic impact, AND to inspire people to come together in a safe way, support local, spend local and celebrate the fact that We Live Here and we love the Upper Hunter. The Christmas spirit was on display as people lined up for the food trucks, supported local food & hospitality providers, our retailers put in so much effort and roving entertainers lit up the streets of Scone, ensuring that support was widely spread. To be able to Re-emerge, Celebrate and Engage this way has been a real blessing. Community connectivity is vital for our well-being and we hope 2021 gives us many more opportunities to gather safely in public spaces and enliven the Upper Hunter. Christmas on Kelly was made possible by the Summer Funds grant through the NSW Government. Ps. Shout out to all our local businesses, retailers, artists and emerging talent - you are truly amazing!

15.01.2022 COVID Funding for Small Business The NSW Government recently announced a major new grants package and changes to the Dine & Discover program to help tens of thousands of small businesses and people across NSW impacted by the current COVID-19 restrictions. The package includes grants of between $5000 and $10,000 for small businesses, payroll tax deferrals for all employers, an extension of the Dine & Discover program to 31 August and the ability for people to use Dine & Discov...er vouchers for takeaway delivered directly to their home by the venue itself.
