25.01.2022 *** ROUND 1 GAMES POSTPONED *** Sorry to be bearer of base news everyone but regrettably the NSWRL and Comp Admin have jointly agreed to postpone Round 1 games this weekend to commence instead next weekend, 25 July 2020 due to coronavirus concerns currently being managed in Victoria and parts of NSW. We have all been working very hard to get the Club up and running in these extraordinary and unprecedented times and we truly appreciate your patience, support and understanding ...as we try to navigate the world as it is today. Any information we get will be passed on promptly to your coaches and managers for distribution to your teams. We will also post news and updates on our page. 20.01.2022 Some of you may have already heard the terrible news that one of our seniors - a young lad by the name of Joel Dark was critically injured during his debut game... for Central Newcastle Butcher Boys at St John Oval on Sunday. At Central Juniors we look up to our older brothers in our senior team and are devastated by what has happened to Joel, it is every parents worst nightmare. We have decided to help out by raising some much needed funds towards Joels recovery. Wednesday 9th, Thursday 10th and Friday 11th will all be Crazy Sock Days at training. Please wear some crazy socks in support of Joel Dark and his family. A gold coin donation (or whatever you can afford) is to be given to your coaches when you arrive at training. The squad will be coached by Dahlia Tahu who has repres...ented with the Jillaroos, NSWS State of Origin and NSW women's city side as well as playing with Mounties, Cabramatta and Wentworthville in the Harvey Norman competition. 11.01.2022 9th January Bunnings BBQ Boolaroo-Glendale.this is a great fundraiser for the club.we need helpers between 8am threw til 4pm even if you can only help for 1 hour the more helpers the less time everyone spends there.this helps us continue cheaper Regos,free referee fees,cheaper merchandise so please try and help out.if you can’t attend and would like to help and donate cans of soft drink-bread ect that would also make a huge help.please comment below if you can help anyway and we will be in contact.MERRY XMAS scorps families
