25.01.2022 I don’t know if you can hear this but it is the sound of blow flies. When the weather gets warmer they fly down our open chimney and into the house and congregate on the kitchen, dining and bedroom window. I vac up dead flies lunchtime and evening. When the weather gets hotter and we stop using the open fire at night Matt gets up there and puts some lead over the chimney (it is so bloody high because our house goes down the hill). Can anyone recommend any scents etc etc that will discourage flys? (Currently have an auto fly sprayer but would love something to put in the fireplace during the day to not get so many)
