25.01.2022 The Country Fair | Saturday 23 November Our Country Fair is just 2 days away! Are you excited as we are? With activities for all ages, amusement rides, market stalls, food trucks, camels, and very special performances to be enjoyed at our twilight event there will be something for everyone!... And as you explore the Fair, drop in on the BBQ and drinks tent, run by Andrew McMillan from the Scotsonians and Geoff Wright, President of the Scots Community Foundation! We also invite all those attending to join us after the Fair for an informal Alumni catch up at the Astor Hotel from 7.00pm. We hope to see you there!

12.01.2022 This summer brought widespread bushfires throughout Australia causing devastation and heartache to many families and impacting livelihoods for years to come. Trying to remain on track or even to return to normal life is still an ongoing concern for many and will continue to impact communities. In order to ease the burden caused by this devastation, the Australian Government is offering scholarships for various students who have been effected by natural disasters including bus...hfire, drought and flood. The Australian Government’s Rural & Regional Enterprise Scholarships (RRES) are valued at up to $18,000 for eligible students from regional and remote Australia, in any course of tertiary study. Scholarships are awarded taking into consideration financial need, with priority assessment given to applicants who meet a range of criteria. If a scholarship like this could help you or someone you know, head to the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) webpage for all of the details www.qtac.edu.au/scholarships/RRESP Applications will remain open throughout 2020 or until the scholarships are fully exhausted.
