24.01.2022 Scott Gumbleton is still involved in the game. He's helping to run a new series of Aussie Rules football clinics for clubs across the East coast of the United States, starting in New York, May 15-17. http://usafl.com//beasts-training-eastern-clubs-form-devel Good to see we have Australian talent helping to build the game over there.

23.01.2022 Positive news for Gumby. It wasn't a major hamstring tear. He is currently listed as being three weeks away from a return to the WAFL. Phew! Hopefully the big fella can make a big statement with Peel Thunder during the final home and away round of WAFL. He has had a frustrating year so far with only six WAFL games and five goals. However it would be great to see him fire up with one last great game before the AFL finals.

22.01.2022 ANZAC Day football is almost here. Last time Essendon won Scott Gumbleton kicked two goals, winning his battle against Nathan Brown. Collingwood are chasing a record four ANZAC Day wins in a row, but Essendon supporters are confident their team can get the job done. Who are you tipping to win today?

21.01.2022 Congratulations to Scott Gumbleton on being named centre half forward in the NFL Div 3 team of the year. http://nfl.org.au//2017-NFL-Division-3-Team-of-the-Year.pdf Scott lines up with Banyule to play in the grand final tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully he takes another screamer.... https://twitter.com/jobewatson/status/879512674077253633 See more

18.01.2022 A late happy birthday to Scott Gumbleton for his big day yesterday. Scott has been spotted recently playing footy for Banyule in Div 3 of the Northern Football League. He joined near the halfway mark of the season and already leads the club goal kicking. http://katamatitefc.vcfl.com.au/team_info.cgi... I'm sure he would love to hear fans cheering for him during the final two home and away matches.

17.01.2022 Yes it is true. Scott Gumbleton has announced his retirement. http://www.theage.com.au//scott-gumbleton-retires-after-pl However he seems in good spirits. I wish the best of luck to him as he chooses to take on new challenges.

16.01.2022 I can not confirm if this is legitimate, but it appears Scott Gumbleton is a personal trainer in New York now. Got any mates over there looking to get in shape? http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/lss/4856327394.html

10.01.2022 Gumby is still fighting hard to get fit for the final WAFL game and make himself available for AFL finals. In the meantime here are highlights from Gumbleton's most consistent AFL season to show what the big man will be doing to South Fremantle at the end of the month. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7GM58F5Oqg

09.01.2022 Scott is undergoing scans today after sustaining a leg injury. I am hoping for good news. However it now seems unlikely that he will play any games for Fremantle this year. I will put up another post when new information becomes available.

08.01.2022 Haven't heard any word on whether or not Scott Gumbleton is playing any footy next year. He's probably enjoying a much needed break with friends. http://pbs.twimg.com/media/BXZ9v1bCIAAp9m5.jpg

02.01.2022 I know you’re all excited about the footy coming back. We all know Gumby is perfectly capable of tearing up a pre-season match. However I must remind you that this is a fan page. If Scott’s been ignoring his uncle, late to pre-season training or just plain mentioned in top 20 football lists, then go straight for the man himself. He’s less responsive than me, but at least it’s the right bloke. Scott 'Gumby' Gumbleton > Jack Watts Scott Gumbleton - Stay at EFC... I wish you luck with the year ahead my fellow Bombers.
