24.01.2022 ACCOUNTABILITY: Our community deserves outcomes over the next 4 years to ensure we continue to move forward. Thank you to all the party members that supported our 2020 campaign and put their hand up to effect change. We put together a very comprehensive list of priorities for our region with sustainable solutions and full commitments.... The KAP were touting theirs as non-negotiables. Now it's time to hold all those non-negotiables to account.

24.01.2022 NETWORKING CHEER: A fantastic afternoon of networking with the Townsville community, Phillip Thompson OAM MP - Fighting For Townsville and Senator Susan McDonald along with some Christmas cheer.

23.01.2022 THE NEXT 4 YEARS: The future is about building your trust, a new LNP team and bringing good Government back to Queensland. It was fantastic to have our newly appointed leader David Crisafulli MP in Townsville tonight with Shadow Ministers Sam O'Connor MP, Amanda Camm - Member for Whitsunday and James Lister MP - Member for Southern Downs. Tonight was all about saying thank you to all those who shared our campaign journey, sweated with us and still have faith in what we will ...deliver for our region. #PiperFor2024

04.01.2022 2020 has been a tough year for many and affected our local community and the broader region in different ways. Our local community centre North Townsville Community Hub is putting together Christmas hampers. I had the pleasure of working with the NOTCH team during my campaign and the work they do for our locals is outstanding and very much needed. Christmas is a time to come together, support one another and help those in need when they need it most. Everyone deserves to hav...e a Christmas filled with happiness and support. Below is a list of items they require and now more than ever, 2020 is the year to spread some Christmas cheer. Hamper items can be dropped off at the North Townsville Community Hub which is located at 52 Palm Drive, Deeragun (behind Woolworths Deeragun) OR you can drop off any items to our local councillor Sue Blom- Councillor Division 2 at the next Bushland Beach Markets on December 6th from 8am to 12pm.

04.01.2022 BUSINESS ADVOCACY: Congratulations to the Townsville Chamber of Commerce on their work supporting the business community of Townsville in an unprecedented year. It was a pleasure to attend their 138th Annual General Meeting, to hear their advocacy plans for our business community and understand their vision for the year ahead.

04.01.2022 IT'S LIVE: It's been one hell of a ride for the event industry this year, but tonight it's fantastic to see life back into iconic events in Townsville, such as the PBR Australia Grand Finals. Well done to Glen Young and the PBR crew, along with the Townsville Entertainment & Convention Centre and the Townsville City Council for delivering this to Townsville in 2020.

02.01.2022 HOLIDAY SEASON: This time of year is meant to be lived well with the loved ones in our lives. Kate and I certainly had a fantastic Christmas day with our family and friends, taking time to appreciate all that we have. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas day and you all take the time to slow down over the next week, relax, enjoy the little things and take stock of the year that was and get ready to ring in the new year.
