24.01.2022 Another massive week finished today, whilst another starts tomorrow. Great to have many jobs in the system. A big triple bunk van converted to shelves and storage, several services, fold out trailer had a new lift up floor added, with a strutted system, checker plate added to protect rear of van from bikes, a couple of awnings and some water ingress repairs. Stay Safe. Cheers Darren.

18.01.2022 Plenty of pre and post Easter trips being planned and prepared for. A few water ingress repairs at the moment, electrical add ons and general services. Very busy times ahead, even currently taking bookings for travellers interstate, for when they return. Cheers Darren.

17.01.2022 A busy couple weeks with some first services, warranty work, bike rack, new awning, leaking roofs, van prep for major trip and electrical issues. A couple big jobs on the go as well, and several diesel heaters booked in reading for winter. Cheers Darren.

17.01.2022 Been an absolute pleasure to have been a part of the journey with Dean and Roger, in the sale/purchase of this van sight unseen. Dean contacted me from Tasmania, to carry out a pre purchase inspection, of which we then spoke and I told him the van had been well maintained by Roger. The Sale then went ahead, and I carried out the fit off of a diesel heater, duel solar panels and batteries with a 2000wt inverter, underslung axles, and a few other items. Today the Guys met, and Roger carried out his handover to Dean, before I did likewise. I’m sure Dean will have many great memories like Roger and his wife. Cheers Darren.

13.01.2022 With Regional borders open and Australia’s greatest State as one again, and Xmas holidays not far away, bookings are filling fast. So don’t leave it until the last minute to get things done. Stay Safe, Cheers Darren.

12.01.2022 It’s been a huge first fortnight too the New Year, with plenty more vans to come in. There’s been several families having their first foray into caravanning, buying then having them checked over, and adding on to suit their needs. I have also carried out a few pre purchase inspections, and a couple come in purchased from dodgey buy and sell dealers, a pre purchase inspection, I would have had advise not to buy. Stay Safe and enjoy your Caravanning. Cheers Darren.

11.01.2022 A big week just finished late today, and lucky enough to have had a hand from my apprentice with 20 years experience Matty. We’ve fitted off 4 awnings, 2 Dometic Ibis 4 A/C units, fixed elec issues, Diesel Heater, couple of services and fitted of 2 Sirroco Fans and TV shelving in a Silverline on site for some repeat clients. Be Smart & Stay Safe, Cheers Darren.

10.01.2022 It’s been a busy couple of weeks getting all my jobs complete and returned, leading into to putting tools down for the next 6 weeks, and putting my school teachers hat on. I hope everyone can stay safe and healthy during the next 6 weeks, and onwards. Cheers Darren.

09.01.2022 Nothing wrong with home handy men, they come up with some great ideas. But a client just purchased this ripper, with some add on wiring, croc clips, a portable folding solar panel occy strapped to the roof, and two blocks propping up the micro. Just like me, if you don’t know, just ask someone who does.

07.01.2022 After a hectic three weeks getting back into the grove, after my winter slumber, it’s time for two nights away in South Gippsland for my daughters birthday in our van. Spots are filling up fast leading into Xmas, but don’t stress, I will be working through if you need anything. There is a shortage of some parts due to little imports coming in recently, however I will try my best to get what I can through my supplier network. It will get better, but we may need to be patient with some items. Stay Safe, Cheers Darren.

06.01.2022 After sealing the whole of the outside of this old beauty, it’s very pleasing to see the end result, after this family added their own personal touch by painting the outside themselves. Well done guys, it looks great. Happy Holidays.

05.01.2022 Exciting times ahead with our new facility nearly finished, and we can be fully operational again. It’s been a huge family effort to get it to this stage, and will make things much more efficient. I am currently able to carry out van services, and emergency repairs. Have as good a long weekend as possible, and Go Cats and the Storm.

04.01.2022 Reflecting on my first 2.5 years in business, during this shut down, here are some photos of my very first job. I walked in expecting to reclad one side, and to my dismay it had no roof, and needed cladding both sides, plus had I had to re build the bedroom , kitchen and dining areas. I would like to thank my family, friends and many repeat clients for your continued support in this time. I would like to try to reach 600 business page followers over the next month, through your continued support to spread the word for me. I am also excited to be doing some work moving forward with BMPro, so jump on their site and have a look at their great products. We have more exciting news to share in the next 4-6 weeks. Stay Safe, Cheers Darren.

04.01.2022 Hi Guys, with some positive signs on the Covid front, with regional restrictions easing, and hopefully the same following in metro areas soon. Therefore caravanning for us all within Victoria will open up. If you need any Caravan or Camping accessories, give the friendly and helpful Team at Carac a call. They have been a great support to my business with parts. For those needing work carried out, I will be back operational fully shortly, currently only allowed to do emergency work. Stay Safe. Cheers Darren.

03.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day to all. I’m sure most would love to be out using yours Caravans, as would I, but not to be. So after a tough day painting, I’m about to sit down and watch the Cats v Bombers, and enjoy a beer from my gift pack from the Burra Brewery in Korumburra. They do a great feed, and have plenty of live music, so if your in the area when restrictions lift, drop in and sample one of their many . Stay Safe. Cheers Darren.

02.01.2022 Been another busy couple of weeks, with a couple of solar kit outs, underslung axles, several camper trailer repairs, pre and post purchase inspections. The next few weeks even busier, so please be patient if I don’t return your call, or messsge straight away, with a high volume of enquiring at the moment. I appreciate the continued support, and will get back to you. Regards Darren.

02.01.2022 Hi Guys, I will not be working this week due to the sudden unexpected passing of my eldest son on Friday. I will touch base with those scheduled to come in to change dates. I will also get back to messages, and emails as soon as I can. I’m sorry for any inconvenience, however if new dates don’t suit your needs, I will help with getting you in with some fellow repairers. Please be patient as we make the necessary arrangements. Regards Darren.

02.01.2022 Recently finished this full external re seal, for a young family too put their own personal touches on the van, before having many happy trips in. The yard is all set, awaiting the starters gun to go off once again, with quite a few on the books ready to come in over the following weeks. Cheers Darren.

01.01.2022 With the last of my vans finished, and handed back over for family Xmas holidays, I can now start my Xmas shopping. I will be working through the holiday period for those that may need any vans worked on. Stay safe, and happy holidaying. Cheers Darren.

01.01.2022 Just had a great 3 day break in our van with the family staying in Korumburra, down in South Gippsland, one the best areas of Victoria to Visit. There’s the Burra Brewery with a variety of beers and beautiful wood fire pizza, two Pubs both with great feeds, a cafes to get a feed and coffee, a scenic golf course and Coal Creek Historical Village. Plenty of great little towns down that way to visit for a weekend trip in your caravan. Visit Victoria first. Stay Safe, Cheers Darren.
