11.01.2022 We are very pleased to announce that at our recent Annual General Meeting Colin Foon was inducted as a Life Member of the NTFA Inc. Colin played football in the... 1970’s, spending five years at the Scottsdale Football Club, along with two years at Lilydale Football Club - Demons In 1982 Colin transferred to the Old Launcestonians Football Club where he had a distinguished career both on-and-off the field that lasted 16 years. On the field Colin was a Premiership player and Captain for two years. He won the League Best and Fairest in 1982 and was runner-up in 1984. Colin coached the Old Launcestonians Football Club Reserves and the League Under 19’s Representative Side in 1984, whilst off-field he was OLFC Secretary for five years and then President for two years. Whilst under his reign the club won duel premierships in 1997. Colin’s a Life Member of OLFC and was recognised as the first club Living Legend. In 1998 Colin joined the NTFA Inc. Board as a Director and is now the 2nd longest for continuous service to the Board after Mike Wise. In total Colin has served for 23 years. Colin was the first professional skills-based Board Member to be appointed, providing advice and support on many matters that required legal expertise. As everyone in the NTFA knows, Colin loves his footy and all the friendships he has made along the journey. He continues to support the NTFA in the ever-changing footy landscape.
