24.01.2022 Home after few days away with friends. Lots of good times & laughs had by all. Thouroughly enjoyed the Wineglass Bay and Tasman Island cruises. Spectacular scenery. We even got to see the seals and lots of dolphins swimming along next to us. WELL DONE Pennicott Tours& crew members. Then on to the Tahune Air Walk. Still recovering from the devastating bushfires , Jan 2019. Yes most of us went right out to the end. Improved disability access and transportation to avoid over 200 steps. No extra cost. Since last time we were there.

08.01.2022 Been up to check out the new Camden Dam at Diddleum today. Huge undertaking. 6 fishermen trying their luck. They said they had to throw them back as bit small. But they will grow.

08.01.2022 Peter & Warren called into our info centre today for maps and information to help with the fundraising walk around Australia for Beyond Blue. Yes all around Australia. They estimate it will take three years to walk it. So any help with accommodation etc on their way would be greatly appreciated. They are heading towards St Helens.

03.01.2022 Nice day today at the unveiling of the plaque commemorating the township of Lisle. North East Tasmania. Some of our Ancestors (Titmus) once owned the All Nations Hotel there. Amazing to think it was once the 3rd largest town in Tasmania. Hardly anything visible now. Special thanks to the team at Lilydale Historical for all their hard work.

03.01.2022 Mt Paris Dam Beautiful spot in the North East. Resharing Directions for those wanting to see the dam. From Branxholm - take the C425 just past Branxholm - opposite the cemetery. Travel for approx 12.5 kms. Turn off is on the left. ( sign is quite small) From Weldborough- take the C425 opposite the pub. Travel approx 6.4 kms. Turnoff is on the right. ( Again sign is quite small)... Continue on to car parking. You will see the dam wall on the left. Walk little further to creek and the huge cuts are on your left. Waterfall is little further. Take care. Can be slippery. NOTE - C425 is a gravel road. Drive safely. See more
