17.01.2022 Here's a sub board upgrade we did, installed new flush mount enclosure with new main switch, combination safety switch/circuit breakers and surge arrestor along with an earth stake at the main switchboard. Most older houses only have an earth bond to the copper plumbing pipes so an earth stake is a much needed upgrade

16.01.2022 Another switchboard upgrade today. Did you know you are ment to check your safety switch is operating correctly once a month. Its easy to do, push the test button to make sure it is still tripping and functioning properly. We installed a powerpoint for this customer and found the safety switch was not tripping with our tester so we advised on an upgrade. Now the customer is safe and sound

Did you know its recommended that you replace your hardwired smoke alarm every 10 years, if you aren't sure how old your smoke alarm is don't risk it and get it changed. If you don't currently have a hard wired smoke alarm we can also supply and install. Don't leave it til its too late, keep safe.

05.01.2022 Here is some photos from a job we did the other day. We contract through Electel Resources for Sa power networks and do alot of work with underground cabling when stobie poles need removing/replacing. This one here needed to be removed so we installed a new p7 pit to resin join the cables and extended them to a new switchboard location, no finished photos unfortunately as we didnt finish til late. The control wiring is switching for the lighting at the port adelaide docks so the ships can see where the land is, pretty awesome stuff.

03.01.2022 Have some old existing lights you are looking to upgrade to LED downlights but the hole in the ceiling is too big? Here is a smart and effective way of installing them with an outer ring attachment. This saves getting the electrician in to disconnect the old lights then getting the gyprocker in to patch and flush the ceiling and then repainting the ceiling and getting the electrician back. This way its all done at once by the electrician :)
