The Scotts Head Events Committee strive to bring happiness & community engagement into our village by providing 10 special events per year where the entire community along with visitors can enjoy live entertainment, togetherness, awareness & fun. These events also offer fundraising opportunities for local groups & charities. All profits raised by SHEC (Scotts Head Events Committee) go back into the local community & s...o far we have contributed to & supported local schools / pre- schools, sporting groups, Surf club, RFS, VRA Legacy, people with special needs etc We all thankyou for your continued support. Our Holiday market will commence this Wed Jan 1st 4pm - 9pm followed by each Wednesday evening in January. Come along to the Scotts Head Reserve & enjoy fabulous music from local talent, scrumptious food, fun for the kids, petting zoo, market stalls & more Wishing you all a Very Merry Christmas & a Happy & Safe New Year

Just a quick announcement today to let you all know that we will be opening up the 2020 food & beverage stall applications in a couple of weeks so plz watch this space. We are encouraging the wonderful local breweries to come back on board to help enhance the magical atmosphere of showcasing the fabulous tastes from our region. Food, Wine, Craft Beer, Children's entertainment & Artists may all apply, look forward to hearing from you all.

25.01.2022 Introducing Liam Moylan Music our music entertainment for the Twilight markets on Jan 1st 2020. Liam Moylan is a 23 year old multi-instrumentalist born and rais...ed on the Mid North Coast of NSW. Over the past 7 years, Liam has worked his way from busking and street performing to supporting some of Australia’s biggest and best touring artists. Liam has focused on building his experience in multiple fields in the local music scene. After the years of performing on numerous stages, Liam produced his first EP in 2018 and is now working on a new single due to its success. Come along on Wednesday Jan 1st & enjoy some sweet grooves as you browse the markets & grab some delicious dinner & desserts :)

23.01.2022 CALLING ALL ARTISTS...... We are seeking artists for the art exhibition & exhibitors to "create on the day" in front of live audiences. As we enter February 202...0 the plans for the Scotts Head Festival & Art exhibition are well underway. Each year we strive to include tons of art into our festival by not only offering a FREE exhibition & an opportunity for all participating artists to sell their masterpieces but also by inviting interactive entertainment. People love to watch an artist create (or finish off) a beautiful piece right before their very eyes. If you have something to contribute to the exhibition this year then we want to hear from YOU. 23.01.2022 Not quite sure how we could have possibly advertised the "NO PETS" any more or any clearer than we did. We apologise to all those who did not see at least one of our 1000 flyers that were distributed over the past months leading up to the festival. There are many reasons why pets are not permitted: 1: Food & beverage regulations 2: Farm animals & reptiles... 3: OH&S (WHS) Lets all stop and think about this scenario for just one minute: If even just 1 third of the public brought their dogs along there would be 350 - 400 dogs inside the festival area.... - all common sense

23.01.2022 Have you had the pleasure of meeting our resident turtle "Sarah" while swimming in the ocean? She was our inspiration for this magnificent piece of artwork that can now be admired everytime you go into the reserve at Scotts Head. Tina & crew will give her a light sand & a shiny coat of oil over the coming weeks & we hope that all residents & visitors will enjoy this sculpture for years to come. Special thanks to our chainsaw artist Matt George.

22.01.2022 PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: With all the tragedy of the recent & ongoing bush fires the Scotts Head Events Committee have been in discussions over the past weeks with our local Scotts Head RFS squad to ask where donations would be most beneficial. It turns out that there is a captain's fund. This fund helps the zone as a whole, the zone has 30 + brigades.... Scotts Head works very closely with these brigades. For instance, there was a false alarm call at 1.40am on a Wednesday morning recently & Stuarts Point & Scotts Head fire brigades met on top of Scotts Head mountain. Additionally, more remote brigades do not have the fund raising capabilities of village brigades, so the Captain's fund is a Godsend to them all. Therefore the Scotts Head Events Committee have decided to make a generous donation of $1000 to the captain's fund in appreciation for the tireless efforts from these fabulous men & women. We hope this will help with much needed supplies across the valley. See more

Imagine a bright white vintage onesie ski suit, 80's music and a unicorn riding a 12-foot unicorn unicycle. Comedy, juggling, magic and unicycling show by a world champion unicyclist. This routine includes lots of audience participation, tons of unicycle tricks and heaps of death defying stunts. Featuring unbelievable unicycle skills by a world champion unicyclist who has over 29 years of experience. All the way from Canada - Jamey AKA The Unicycling Unicorn is sure to be a massive crowd pleaser

Members come & go but the driving force & determination remain the same.... The main aim of the committee is to bring culture & joy into the valley for people of all ages & provide a space for learning, growing, creating & also a chance for the entire community & our visitors to come together as ONE.... Whether it be music, dance, acrobatics, artworks, food & beverages, animals, reptiles, cars, magic show, rides, workshops, or children's entertainment that tickles your fancy - you won't be disappointed because the Scotts Head FOOD, WINE, MUSIC & ART Festival has it all... We are proud to say that all profits made from these events get donated back into the local community. We also offer free fundraising opportunities to local groups & associations.
