25.01.2022 I started writing a song dedicated to a beautiful mind in my life and because I struggled to sleep through the night, I just added a piano & guitar outro to it. It needs work, yet I am enjoying sharing my raw/demo incomplete works with you all. This one is a lil’ special, and is called You Ignite Me. I hope you like

10.01.2022 I decided to do a pop rock version of a metal song (demo) of mine called Born Of The Ashes. It’s a massive step out of my comfort zone and admittedly I am not overly comfortable with the vocals in this at all... but I am sharing everything. First attempt at this genre and you might see some more of this kind of thing heading your way.... maybe Born Of The Ashes (Alt. Version)
06.01.2022 So my plans involving roller skates were cancelled last night due to some cough/cold running through my house for the past week or more. Yet I decided that I haven’t produced a cover of a song in a while, and this time I wanted to tackle something from the 90’s, like a pop/dance type of song so my weekend hasn’t been a total failure. Mind you, those that listen to this first draft I knocked up in an evening might think WTF is he doing playing around with dance/pop genres fr...om the 90’s. Well it’s much better than Freaking destroying myself right ?hahahaa. So first up is an early share of my first draft of a remix for this song that jumped at me when I did a quick search for top pop and dance songs of the 90’s. Disclaimer none of the songs on the lists I read were songs that I liked back then besides perhaps a few, but this isn’t about me covering a song I love it’s about me getting back to my creative zone and doing something a little. I could be going somewhere with this, but only time will tell. Enough chit chat Please take the time to listen to this first draft that is full of minor mistakes etc, it’s part of the process, yet I am quite happy with how easily this came together. 05.01.2022 Hey ALL I hope everyone is great. I have been a bit quiet and keeping to myself for a few months while I go through my getting sober adventure. Today will be the end of week 12 of no booze and tomorrow I head into week 13 which thanks to an Ace friend of mine Wrathof Gosh that pointed out that 13 weeks is a season. So bring on a season of not filtering all the bullshit with alcohol, and actually having to face areas of myself that I have hidden and ignored for many many year...s. It’s been one hell of a roller coaster ride and I don’t recommend anyone ever allowing themselves to sit up front and never get off that roller coaster. Sure it’s given me some amazing memories over the years, and a whole lotta fun, yet there is so much more I want from this life so I am not saying I will never touch a drop of stupid fun juice again, yet I am saying that I now wield the sword of self discipline, and I aim to never lose my grip on it . If anyone that actually reads this is struggling with addiction/alcohol abuse etc.. Feel free to contact me if you want a chat or to know how I got through the dark days and nights.
