14.01.2022 Yesterday our longest serving volunteer decided to cap off 6 months in Mission Beach by jumping out of a perfectly good plane at 15,000 ft! She’s survived covid Lockdown, no work for almost two month’s to now completing her 88 day regional work. We are so thankful for everything that you have done for us Natalia and we will miss you when you leave in a few weeks.

05.01.2022 December is not the time to be working it's the time to be having fun, though after all the Christmas and New Year celebrations bank accounts need topping back up and job need to be found. We are looking for a range of people to come up to lovely Mission Beach to work, we have work on banana farms around the area for people looking to extend their 417 working holiday visas or people looking to get on a 408 visa. While there is plenty of work in local bars, cafes and resorts for people on 462 visas or anyone looking for a short term job. 04.01.2022 We need some helpers to help out around the hostel, we have different roles available which include general cleaning, driving our courtesy shuttle bus to collect guests and then night watch duties which include general cleaning and in cases late check ins. You will stay in a spacious dorm room with other helpers, have free wifi and free laundry.
