21.01.2022 Our anti-poaching scout, the APS, was used to track this illegal fishing vessel in very rough conditions. It launched at 3:30am and flew a 90 minute mission in 40km winds to photograph and video the illegal fishing activities and returned to the mothership at dawn. The ship had been moored there for months and has now lifted its moorings and is on the run. We are incredibly proud that our APS was able to complete the mission when a manned helicopter was unable to operate in such poor conditions. Well done team! #APS #ScoutAerial

21.01.2022 We are always excited to see our MD pushing forwards in the industry with his endeavor to improve RPA (Drone) safety across the globe. "Its taken a while to an...nounce but I am incredibly proud to have been selected to sit on the CASA RPA Task force along with a few other industry peers. This Task force has been set up to shape Australias Remotely Piloted Aircraft Regulatory framework, develop new airworthiness standards and enhance safety standards across the board. We are pushing ahead to safely integrate RPA systems into the National Airspace. Building a world leading, innovative regulatory framework will enjoy far-reaching benefits to industry and Australia as a whole". #CASA #ScoutAerial #RPASafety

11.01.2022 "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together" - My favourite proverb! After 14 months, thousands of hours, lots of weekend work and a massive team effort, the APS is ready for delivery. Its hard to put into words the amount of effort this project has taken and I am so grateful to everyone involved for an amazing job. From what started as a side project (in the garage) to help with antipoaching in Africa, to the commercial manufacturing of these sys...tems in such a short time, is something that is hard to believe was possible. The first three systems are due for delivery and will be flown off the back of a ship to search for illegal fishing vessels of the coast of Africa. With a 200 km range (2 hour endurance), the ability to receive satellite transmissions, thermal sensors, Infrared sensors and electro-optical cameras, poachers are going to have a very hard time hiding! With our goal of 500 systems (497 to go) operating across Africa in 5 years, we need your help! Simply like this page and share it with as many friends, conservation organisations and anti-poaching groups you may know.

06.01.2022 Lots of testing this week for three systems before delivery to the client. These will be heading out to sea on the back of a ship to search for illegal fishing vessels.

04.01.2022 An interesting piece of journalism but the message is present, we are spreading our wings throughout Africa this year!

03.01.2022 "To widen our visual range, we have two other tools. One is a small helicopter and a very enthusiastic heli-team. When weather allows and the area seems interesting, they fly out to scout. Theyre also on the lookout for fishing vessels. Secondly, we have three UAV (unmanned air vehicles) at our disposal and someone who knows how to fly them."

03.01.2022 Ready for launch!
