An RSPCA Inspector plays a very important role in preventing animal cruelty. During our session, we will hear from the Inspector about the wins and challenges of their role.

20.01.2022 Paralympian, Paratriathlete and health advocate, Jack Swift became a 400 metre runner and first represented Australia at the 2011 IPC Athletics World Championships in New Zealand just two years after taking up the sport. Jacks constant search for new opportunities and greater challenges have seen him switch his focus from the 400 metres to paratriathlon.

15.01.2022 Kirstie Marshall paved the way for Australian women in aerial skiing, the nations most successful Winter Olympic sport. In her 10-year long career, she won an astounding 41 World Cup medals, of which 17 were gold. Kirstie represented Australia at the Winter Olympics in 1994 Lillehammer and 1998 Nagano. Kirstie has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia and was inducted into the Australian Sport Hall of Fame in 2010. Join us as we chat with Kirstie!

08.01.2022 As part of our ongoing commitment to members, wed like to point out an incident which recently affected Scouts Victoria. In late July and early August of this year, we identified unauthorised activity where third parties gained access to staff email inboxes, most likely using scamming techniques commonly known as 'phishing'. Our IT team identified and blocked the unauthorised activity to protect information held on our systems, and we sought help from digital forensic and c...yber security experts to investigate the incident. We found that data relating to a number of individuals associated with Scouts Victoria was among the data potentially accessed by unauthorised third parties. Weve also taken steps to ensure that incidents like this dont reoccur. We have contacted members who we know may have been directly affected by this incident and will continue to work with them to address their concerns. We encourage anyone who has questions to contact Scouts Victoria and we can address any concerns they may have.
