21.01.2022 Are you a victim or the victor? Every morning and every day we get to make a choice - to live our lives with intent and control or just 'let it happen'. There is no surprise that those who take control and 'make it happen' have far more success than those who sit back, procrastinate or pretend. While some have already made the decision to chase their success this... morning, others are choosing to 'blame' something or someone else for their failure - no time, no money, too tired, Covid, children, sore back, legs, head or the classic 'I'll start tomorrow, Monday or some other pretend date in the future'. 20.01.2022 Have you ever really stuck anything out? Seen it thru to the end? If the answer is yes, genuinely yes, then I imagine you know exactly what it feels like to succeed. Now consider whether there's been anything that you've given up on, made excuses for or found a 'reason' why it would be best to recalibrate ur goals.... I know I have. I was searching thru some photos the other day and found 8 'before' photos that don't align with an 'after' photo. Hands up if U know what I'm talking about Now consider that time you saw it thru to the end. Remember that. Don't U deserve that. 19.01.2022 FOOD OF THE WEEK CAYENNE PEPPER Spicy food lover?! YES or NO?! (Answer in a GIF!) Cayenne peppers are surprisingly good for you. Their power ingredient is capsaicin, which gives them both their nutritional benefits and their spicy-hot taste!... Capsaicin is used in a lot of over-the-counter remedies, from pain-relieving creams to supplements. That’s because on top of easing soreness, it can slightly boost your metabolism and reduce feelings of hunger. Plus, it’s good for your digestive system, helps with lower blood pressure, and has anti-cancer qualities. Note: More spice/cayenne isn’t always better if you already eat spicy foods, adding even more of it to your diet probably won’t give you additional benefits. Add cayenne to scrambled eggs, sauces, stir-fries, casseroles, and chili!

19.01.2022 This recipe will let you raid your spice rack! The combo is so good and the recipe really couldn’t be easier. Serve it with your favorite veggies and some sweet potatoes for a complete meal. SIMPLE SPICE-RUBBED CHICKEN... (Serves 4) 2 tsp curry powder 1 tsp each ground ginger, chipotle pepper, garlic powder, and paprika tsp cumin tsp cayenne pepper Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper; 2-3 lbs (900 - 1300 grams) chicken pieces, skin on or off Avocado oil or butter, as needed Preheat your oven to 400F (200C). Using avocado oil or butter, grease a baking dish that’s big enough to hold all the chicken. Combine all the spices in a bowl, and add a couple of healthy pinches of salt and pepper. Place the chicken in the baking dish and bake for about 45 minutes or until the chicken is no longer pink and the juices run clear. A thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the chicken should register 165F (75C). Remove from the oven and serve!
