It’s so good to be able to play with different art mediums and they used black gesso and Dina Wakely gloss sprays along with a bunch of other stuff! There were some new ladies and it’s wonderful to be able to jump into class at any stage of your artistic journey - total beginner or seasoned artist, we all have fun with our kind and generous tutor Jen to guide us along xx

12.01.2022 I really do love my job! Designing fun things for us to create. This is for Friday’s class - you like?

09.01.2022 I believe encouraging confidence in artists is more important than perfection in artists. I was asked why don’t I don’t teach art classes to adults very often and it made me wonder why I love kids so much. I think it’s because they are easier to teach. Kids are happy to play and make mistakes and learn, they don’t have that need to be ‘perfect’ (like the sample photograph), they enjoy the process and are thrilled with their outcomes. My kids class today had all our kids creating something wonderful with watercolours, some had never tried watercolours before and all gained that little bit more confidence. I am so proud of them, and wish I took photos of more students work to share. Each one of these is perfect! - Tania Art journal classes - Saturdays
