24.01.2022 Hi everyone, soooo many people came in Friday and Saturday to check on our rescue chicks progress and to say how nice it was to have a change in news that I thought I would post another video of him/her I was gardening near them yesterday and I heard a baby chick squealing in panic ... I raced over to check and I STILL cant tell you how this happened - but the chick was stuck against mummy hens feathers and was getting carried around on her chest with its feet off the ground ... it was waving it feet and wings and protesting until it managed to break free! If I hadnt seen it I wouldnt have believed it there must have been sap from the grass that was somehow strong enough to act as a glue on such a tiny body but all good now

20.01.2022 Hi everyone! Here is something non crafty to warm us up I went out this morning and mummy hen had taken her 8 babies out and was cavorting in the grass with them! This egg was still on the nest and the baby was almost frozen ... I warmed the egg up and she started to cheep again, Mum and I have held her in our hands the last few hours and she has warmed up and chipped through nearly all of her shell! Ive bought her to work and She should be hatched in the next hour .. Ill post some more pics so we can cheer her on tonight I will pop her back under mum and she will never know what a lucky chicky she is

20.01.2022 Ooohh.. had a super quick play with the new Elements inks! Couldn’t resist ... they blended really smoothly! They are a foam ink pad rather than a felt one which surprised me! And SUPER moist - only the tiniest amount of ink needed

05.01.2022 Accidental discovery I bought these zig pens on to draw on card stock ... epic fail! It soaks straight in ... but WOW does it work well on plastics and polymer clay! So Im thinking Christmas decorations? And polymer clay jewellery? If anyone wants to test a surface bring it in and we can try it out

03.01.2022 Who has been making back grounds with the cling wrap technique I showed on Saturday when I was experimenting with colours I thought twisted citron, mowed lawn and bundled sage looked like it would be bland when I combined them - it ended up my favourite combination!!! I have just made up some more back grounds so I can show how I made this card on Tuesday ... it looks so intricate, but I swear it is EASY!!!
