25.01.2022 So there I was on a trail and noticed I needed to tie up my boot... I sat on this dead log, bent over to lace it up and saw this right underneath me. Pretty sure I let out a scream and jumped off in 2.5 seconds flat... seriously thought I was now a person who discovered a dead body/ body part... so then I got curious and poked it... then saw that its hooked onto a stem that goes into the ground. So I whipped out my handy dandy Google friend and typed in "foot plant mushroom" and there it was... "dead mans finger/toes fungi". Isnt it amazing?!?!
