17.01.2022 Information Bulletin #2018 14/10/2020 Affected Disciplines: Speedway... Information Pertains to: Speedway Sidecar Underpan Current Rule: 14.25.1.10 Underpan must cover underside of the sidecar from the front fairing rail to the sidecar main cross tube and cover the underside of the engine. Underside must be constructed of: a) Steel; which must have wired or rolled edges, with a minimum thickness of 1.6mm or b) Aluminium; which must have wired or rolled edges, with a minimum thickness of 1.2mm or c) Plastic; which must have rounded edges and be a minimum thickness of 3mm. New Rule: 14.25.1.10 Underpan must cover underside of the sidecar from the front fairing rail to the sidecar main cross tube and cover the underside of the engine. A gape of 300ml Max is allowed from the front fairing rail to allow air to keep the radiator cool. Underside must be constructed of: a) Steel; which must have wired or rolled edges, with a minimum thickness of 1.6mm or b) Aluminium; which must have wired or rolled edges, with a minimum thickness of 1.2mm or c) Plastic; which must have rounded edges and be a minimum thickness of 3mm. Rationale: For sidecars underpans, there is a potential risk for the motor to over-heat. This rule change will assist with the cooling of motors and eliminate this potential risk. Effective: Immediately. 12.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we inform our members and followers of Doug Chivas passing. He was an integral part of sidecar racing in Australia for as long as most can remember! And a character noone will forget!... He will be sadly missed! R.I.P and ride safe up there!

Anyone who has already entered will receive communication about the next steps.... We will now look forward to next year and confirm what is happening at a later date.
