19.05.2022 What do you think Flash was thinking when he and Jan were checking out some photos of his friends on Jans ipad? Definitely more interested in the second photo! If only they could talk

12.05.2022 When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Well today anyway, for one reason or another, we were desperately short of volunteers so the admin people were roped in to help. A good reason to think about coming to our next New Volunteers Orientation and Induction on 1st June

25.01.2022 NEW VOLUNTEERS....... LAST ORIENTATION AND INDUCTION FOR 2020 On Wednesday November 4th we are holding our last O & I for the year. If you would like to be part of the SCRDAs amazing team of volunteers then come along at 1pm for a couple of hours. Please wear covered in shoes (and a smile.) No need to register. We are situated in Monak Rd, North Arm and we look forward to meeting you! www.scrda.org.au #volunteersarepriceless

25.01.2022 Update on Kikko He is loving his new 'forever' stage in life with lots of new friends, and going on stimulating trail rides. No mental pressure, something we felt he couldn't cope with. No regrets.

24.01.2022 Saturdays storms. Many places had damage, some more severe than others. Lauries farm certainly copped a beating. A brand new water tank went bowling away, trees and some fencing down. Power out for two days. Thankfully no-one, 2 or 4 legged were hurt. I do believe a serious working B is needed. #lauriesfarm www.scrda.org.au

22.01.2022 We, at SCRDA, can't thank our volunteers enough for the extra mile some go to help us out. Georgie was very grateful to Gemma for her watermelon treat on Christmas morning. #VolunteersArePriceless

20.01.2022 ATTENTION . There's only two weeks left until our last program for this year on December 12th. We have been asking for expressions of interest from our valued participants to join us again next year. 2020 has been a challenge for everyone so a big thank you to all involved in keeping us going. Lauries farm is being prepared with paddocks slashed and fence lines sprayed ready for the horses to go there for their Christmas break www.scrda.org.au #lauriesfarm

17.01.2022 Thanks Libby and Ralph for making sure the horses at the centre got a Christmas treat today. Merry Christmas to you all #VolunteersArePriceless

15.01.2022 So it's the mares who are up all night and need a rest now. Maya and Sparkles having a Nana nap gorgeous girls.

15.01.2022 Are these boys getting out with the schoolies? Wally is dead to the world, Louis, Riley and Clue need a lie down. Party time again last night . On a serious note; it's great they feel so safe that they can lay down in their stalls.

15.01.2022 Having our wonderful arena allows us to conduct our group therapy rides in rain, hail or shine. Tho probably not in a hail storm!! Safety first. Lots of activities were enjoyed today under cover. Basketball, bowls, hoops and even a bit of trick riding

14.01.2022 Call out to Volunteers to help with fence-line clean up Tuesday 22nd Dec.... a few dead branches after the recent storms and windy days #keepourhorsessafe

06.01.2022 Very Australian, Ollie and the Roos behind him(can you spot them) at Laurie's Farm wish you all a safe and restful Christmas.

05.01.2022 Where's Wally?? Oh there he is, catching up on sleep. Big night with the boys last night maybe! www.scrda.org.au

05.01.2022 Just love this. The horse...such powerful but gentle beasts.

04.01.2022 It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas

03.01.2022 Armistice or Remembrance Day. Either way we Will remember. Remembrance Day falls on the 11th of November each year. ... In Australia and other allied countries, including New Zealand, Canada and the United States, 11 November became known as Armistice Day a day to remember those who died in World War One.

03.01.2022 For fans of Ollie, and there are many, we can safely say he is enjoying his retirement @ Lauries farm and looking awesome with only one scoop of pellets a day from Mi-Feed plus a lot of TLC from Megan. #lauriesfarm
